El Andamio: Project for Temporary Open-Plan Gallery Based on a Scaffold Construction

The project is for “open gallery” – or exposition surface for designer’s furniture pieces, based on construction with scaffold materials.
Dimensions are 10x12x10 m and it fills the atrium of a commercial center, surrounded by the spiral staircase.
The exposition platforms are not accessible for visitors but they can look at the exposed pieces by walking up the stairs and walk around the construction.
For the purpose of the project a miniature model in 1:30 is made and the small figure that resembles the human scale is called Manolo.
