Two friends and their families bought together a four-story, 90-year-old house in the old center of Sofia—each floor has a separate apartment, and I had the honor of preparing the individual designs for each of them.
This is the apartment on the first floor, intended for long-term rental. The usable area (excluding exterior walls) is 106 square meters and includes 2 bedrooms, 1 storage room, a bathroom, and a living room connected to the kitchen and dining area through an archway.
Although it’s meant for tenants, the home was designed and crafted with attention to every detail—using quality materials, high-grade laminate, and underfloor heating—featuring motifs and decorations that have been trending in recent years. Deep complementary tones of olive green and terracotta red, along with circular and semicircular shapes, define the visual presence and character of the space.
