Despite The Wall_ Presentation

“Despite The Wall” is a complex curator’s project offering installation construction in CJCenter (Christo and Jean-Claude Center), Gabrovo.

The project is based on large quantity of obsolete paint tins (around 30 000 units) and uses them as a building material mixing them conceptually with the heart rate graphic of a healthy human. Thus, transmitting the idea of resemblance between the industrial production and the heart beat.

The project aims at suggesting innovator’s design and development of rooms of the emerging Christo and Jean-Claude Center, ex-textile school. The new look provides the rooms with more than a function and can turn them into: exhibition halls, field for artists, events, artistic courses, installations, all of these surrounded by “walls” of metal tins.
